Difference between Windows application and Metro Apps
There are several differences between Metro Apps & Windows Apps, although both share the same Windows platform. Metro Apps are optimized for touch operations but can work well with other types of inputs like keyboard, mouse etc as well. The new Metro Style Apps & traditional Windows applications differ in lots of ways. A quantity of them are explained below: Regular Windows programs works best with mouse & keyboard.
